Martha Reagan admitted to the United States Supreme Court Bar.
The Supreme Court convened on March 5, 2007 to hear and rule upon motions to admit Martha W. Reagan, Of Counsel to Reagan McLain & Hatch, LLP, Dallas, Texas, and a number of her fellow Texas Wesleyan University Law School Graduates. The motions by Interim Dean Cynthia Fountaine were granted by Chief Justice John Roberts, and Clerk of the Court William K. Suter administered the oath of office. Justices Anthony Kennedy and Samuel Alito visited with the new members of our highest court's Bar in the lawyers' lounge after the court recessed. Membership in the bar of the Supreme Court is open to lawyers admitted to practice in a State for at least three years who are in good standing and are recommended by two members of the Bar.
